Case StudyENS Group Website Consolidation
ENS Group, a vendor of point of sales systems, came to fjorge to merge 4 complimentary sites into a single URL. They needed to consolidate the sites, as well as their existing site into one site that took into account their corporate rebrand, as well as leveraged content and retained functionality. ENS Group was interested in having their products organized in different ways and wanted users to be able to come to the site and easily find what they were looking for. Additionally, they wanted to launch the site in phases so they needed a way to roll out their functionality in multiple parts once the site went live.
fjorge’s Solutions Architecture team worked through their needs and were heavily involved in their strategy. Our UX/UI design team designed the site for ENS Group and our Solutions Architecture team focused primarily on functionality. Based on their budget and needs, our developers built the site on WooCommerce. fjorge created complex custom WordPress taxonomies to organize ENS Group’s products, as well as custom coded a filter so users could easily find products on their site. Our team also built low maintenance product listing templates that had categories attached to them which made cross-listing products easier. The site also has multi-language support, as well as HubSpot built directly onto it, making form submissions a lot more efficient. Fjorge was able to cater to the client’s launch process to launch in phases, which meant disabling checkout on the initial launch and later enabling it. Overall, the site finished under budget and encompasses ENS Group’s new brand, along with their desired functionality.
