Marketing Coordinator Job Description

The Marketing Coordinator leads the marketing efforts for fjorge with the guidance of the VP of Growth.

As part of the wider marketing & sales team, this role is responsible for content marketing, paid media, social media, public relations, events, webinars, etc. This role directly impacts the brand and competitive positioning of fjorge.

This is a local position with at least three days per week in our downtown office.

Roles & Responsibilities

  •  Implement the marketing strategy with consistent application and translation of the company’s brand on all marketing and communications materials.
    • Includes brand messaging, email signatures, external communications, social media post creation, community engagement, etc.
  • Work with VP of Growth to identify audience needs and prioritize marketing efforts to communicate how fjorge can meet those needs.
  • Work collaboratively with multiple internal business units to implement marketing for partnership programs.
  • Plan, execute, monitor, and adjust SEM and SEO inbound programs.
  • Plan and promote company events, including speaking opportunities, trade shows, conferences, seminars, internal client events, etc.
  • Create success criteria for all marketing efforts, and track them as a metric on the weekly scorecard.
  • Assess marketing program effectiveness and apply learnings to future initiatives.
  • Serve as an exemplary writer, consistent with our company’s brand voice.
  • Manage on WordPress, working cross-functionally with design and managed services team to ensure our website is up to date and optimized for marketing.
  • Create and manage Google Ads to market fjorge services ensuring appropriate lead tracking and alignment with strategy.

Administrative Responsibilities

  • Marketing budget management.
  • Contribute to the Sales/Marketing Team by participating in strategic and tactical meetings, and providing quarterly marketing updates to the company.

Specific Outcomes

  • Innovative marketing communications strategies and tactics that generate interest in fjorge services.
  • Innovative marketing communications strategies and tactics that meet or exceed the number of marketing qualified leads (MQLs) established quarterly.
  • Monthly digital newsletter with meaningful content to targeted audiences.
  • Engaging advertising, public relations, trade shows, conferences, webinars, and workshops.
  • Support the Sales Team with sales enablement tools such as case studies, web pages, infographics, etc.

Education & Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree required.
  • Minimum of 1-3 years of marketing communications experience, preferably in the technology industry.
  • Demonstrated effectiveness through interpersonal, presentation, written, and oral communications.
  • Experience in implementing successful, multifaceted communications campaigns.
  • A team player with critical thinking skills and strong problem-solving abilities.
  • Working knowledge of Google Analytics and Google Ads programs.
  • Knowledge of WordPress and Yoast is a plus.
  • Design, photography, and video editing skills are a plus.
  • Proficient in Photoshop, Canva, Garage Band, or iMovie.
